Autumn 2: The Great Fire of London 

This term our topic is The Great Fire of London where we will be learning all about the chronology of events, Samuel Pepys and the London landmarks. Our reading skills book will be 'Toby and the Great Fire of London' and another book we will enjoy to support us in our English writing lessons is 'Katie in London'. 

Autumn 1: The Enchanted Woodland

Below is our curriculum map which details all that we will be learning this autumn 1 term. Our topic is 'The Enchanted Woodland' and we will be using the The Magic Faraway Tree sequence of books along with The Bog Baby to inspire us in our writing lessons. There will be lots of outdoor sessions through geography and science, so if it is at all possible could your child bring in a pair of wellies to keep at school. Thank you!
