I hope you enjoy your challenges this week, I put the tasks into a timetable to try to create some structure for home learning. Phonics

The children will need to recap the sounds in their phonics booklet everyday. The sounds this week are: ng, ai, ee, oo (short- book) and oo (long- zoo). There's a fabulous teacher called Mr Mc, he recorded some fun, energetic phonics videos which mimic a full phonics lesson using the revisit, teach, practise and apply format that I use. I will link some words that the children should practise reading that link to the sounds. If they need some additional support add sound buttons/lines, each single sound has a sound button and a digraph ( a sound with 2 letters) has a sound line. Maths

We use white rose maths in Robin class to teach the children maths. Here are some great videos linked directly to our curriculum. I will attach the daily challenge that links to the videos. Early years maths is very practical and the children are encouraged to use concrete apparatus this could be lego bricks, pebbles, pencils, anything
